Jesus Christ is not repulsive

When somebody does not believe in Jesus Christ, they are believing in a lie instead.

That lie consists of the thing they believe in instead of Him, as well as the false perception of who and what they think of Jesus Christ.

If they accurately saw Jesus for who He is, He would become irresistible to them.

They would have to be graced by God to see Him that clearly. That is still true. They would have to believe by faith. That is still true.

If they are repulsed, they are often repulsed by a picture that is not Him. Christianity is not repulsive. Jesus Christ is not repulsive. He is relieving. He is the Savior.

But then there are the harder cases. Some seem to see Him accurately and still do not want Him. They might see Him accurately, but not see their sin accurately. But if they don't see their sin accurately, I guess they don't actually see Him accurately either.
